My stay at this hotel was a delightful mix of luxury and historical charm. The rooms felt like stepping back in time with their period furnishings while offering all the modern comforts. However, the abundance of decorations made the suite a bit cramped, but it was still a wonderful experience.
Rooms

The rooms were palatial and decorated with period furnishings yet equipped with all the mod-cons for a comfortable stay.
Service

The service was outstanding, with the owners being brilliant, cheerful, friendly, and always ready to help with recommendations and maps. However, one staff member lacked basic courtesy by not introducing himself before taking over the conversation.

Staying in The Medieval Room was absolutely charming with its themed decor and cozy ambiance, plus the added touch of complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. Although the room came at a higher price, the attention to detail and unique features made it worth the cost. The hotel staff genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional with special services and fantastic recommendations for dining nearby.

I adored the Medieval Room with its four poster bed, tapestries, and stained glass window, creating a truly immersive experience. The presence of chamber pots added to the historical charm.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure every need was met. From carrying our luggage to booking a table at a fabulous restaurant, their dedication to customer service was outstanding.
Location

The hotel's central location allowed us easy access to all the attractions in town, although booking ahead on Saturday nights is advisable to ensure availability. Exploring the surrounding streets revealed hidden dining gems like the Brasserie Marso.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast spread was delightful, offering a variety of fresh pastries and meats. However, at 12 euros per person, it leaned towards the pricier side. The availability of an orange juicer for freshly squeezed juice was a nice touch.
Facilities

The hotel provided a well-rounded experience with facilities like room service, dry cleaning, valet parking, and happy hour, enhancing our stay with convenience and comfort.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The rooms were splendidly spacious and opulently decorated, with interesting furniture, a huge bed, and high ceilings. Although it was too cold when we arrived, the room was still cozy with many complimentary features. The service was exceptional, with super friendly and helpful staff who were particularly great at recommending local restaurants. The location was excellent, just off the main square with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The dining experience was a treat, especially the continental buffet with a variety of French cheese and cold cuts. Overall, a wonderful experience with a few minor drawbacks.
